Of course we think you should pay a visit to Pt Leo Estate to taste the magical dish that has been created.

Silver at Australian International Olive Awards

The 2017 Picual continues to impress the judges, receiving a Silver medal at the recent Australian International Olive Awards.

The Robust Single Cultivar EVOO was described by the judges as “Green tomato, tomato juice and almond aroma. Creamy strawberry notes on the palate. Good astringency with pungent finish. A simple clean oil.”

Silver at 2017 Australian Food Awards

We are excited to have been awarded a Silver Medal at the Australian Food Awards for our Single Cultivar Picual Oil.

The judges commented that the oil had “green olive, fruity aroma with raw potato and herb notes that transfer well to the palate.  Lingering dominant bitterness and late building chill pungency.”

2016 Harvest Available NOW

Our Mornington Peninsula olive grove has just completed the 2016 olive harvest and crush.  While unfortunately the olive yield in Victoria is significantly lower this year with many groves achieving only 25% of their 2015 harvest, the fruit quality at Taralinga has been exceptional.

The oil is available to purchase in cartons of a dozen (12 x 500ml bottles) for $264 per carton.

Unfortunately as a result of the limited quantity, this offering is restricted to one carton (12 x 500 ml bottles) per customer.
